is one of the leading young Czech violinists, concertmaster of the PKF - Prague Philharmonia and a member of the Dvořák Trio. From the 2020/2021 season he will be the new concertmaster of the Czech Philharmonic. As a soloist he has appeared with orchestras at the Murten Classics, Pau Casals International Music Festival, Prague Spring and Brevard Music Festival in the USA. In the current 2015/16 season he will appear as soloist with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava and the Chamber Philharmonic Pardubice. In the chamber series of PKF - Prague Philharmonia he will perform with pianist Ivo Kahánek with works by Antonín Dvořák, he also performs at the Dresdner Festspiele, Styriarte Graz and Dvořák's Prague festivals. He began his first violin steps under the guidance of Hana Metelková and later studied at the Prague Conservatory with Prof. Jaroslav Foltýn. In 2003 he graduated from the class of Andrés J. Cárdenes at Carnegie Mellon University in the USA. He expanded his musical education at master classes led by Pinchas Zukerman, Gil Shaham and Joseph Silverstein and Stephen B. Shipps at Semmering, Bonn and Meadowmount School of Music.
